When I would read a court case with a Guardian ad Litem, I told myself that I would like to do that when I retired.
One day, I thought, 'What am I waiting for? There are kids that need help now. Why wait?' So I completed the training and have been a guardian ever since.
The kids I have met have changed my life and touched my heart. The many, many families, caseworkers and concerned parties through the years has enriched my life in immeasurable ways”.
